How does this work with the new TOEFL?

• The new TOEFL (January 2026) uses a 1-6 band score, but your score report also includes a 0-120 score.
• The 4-point guarantee applies to your 0-120 score, whether you're comparing an old TOEFL score to a new TOEFL score, or two new TOEFL scores.

Requirements:

• You must have taken the TOEFL before.
• Your previous score must be less than 2 years old.
• Email us a copy of your "Before" score report when you sign up. A scan or screenshot of your official score report is fine. Click here or email us at help@magoosh.com with the subject line "Before Score Report for TOEFL Score Guarantee" to submit your before score report.

Recommended:

• Watch all of the lesson videos.
• Complete all of the practice questions.
• Review the video explanations for questions you get wrong.

What if I've never taken the TOEFL before?

• You can still use Magoosh to prepare. You won't be eligible for the score guarantee since there's no "before" score to compare, but your purchase is still protected by our 7-day money-back guarantee.
